Georgia is inviting travellers from the GCC as the destination is just four hours away with easy air connectivity.

As GCC outbound travel spending is projected to more than double by 2034, reaching $158.8 million, Georgia is offering a perfect escape for GCC travellers, blending luxury experiences with mid-market affordability and offering 30–40% more value than comparable European destinations.

In 2024, the country welcomed 7.4 million international travellers, with GCC visitors fast becoming a cornerstone of its post-pandemic tourism strategy.

The campaign paints the story of a land where travellers can wake up in the mountains, lunch by the sea, and dine in a centuries-old city, all in a single day. Nestled between the Caucasus Mountains and the Black Sea, Georgia captivates with breathtaking contrasts: ski slopes and family resorts in winter, orchards in bloom during spring, vibrant coastlines in summer, and golden vineyards in autumn.

Maia Omiadze, Head of Administration at the Georgian National Tourism Administration (GNTA), said: “For the Middle East, the campaign has been curated to showcase the many rhythms of Georgia that travellers may not yet know, from family escapes in the mountains to vibrant coastal summers and timeless cultural traditions. It captures the true emotions of Georgia, aiming to put our country on every traveller’s mind as a destination that is not only close, but deeply memorable.

Seamless visa-free entry for GCC nationals and expedited e-visas for residents make Georgia more accessible than ever.
