Salalah : The Directorate General of Consumer Protection in Dhofar Governorate has seized 406 used Omani kummas from a number of commercial establishments in the Wilayat of Salalah. The shops were allegedly selling the used headwear as new items.

The seizure was part of intensified inspection campaigns carried out by judicial control officers to monitor markets and ensure the safety and authenticity of goods on display.

Authorities stressed that such violations undermine consumer trust and confirmed that monitoring efforts will continue to safeguard buyers from deceptive practices.
