Muscat: As part of Oman’s Foreign Ministry plan to ensure the safe return of Omani citizens from the Islamic Republic of Iran, arrangements have been coordinated with authorities in Shiraz to facilitate the evacuation process.

According to a statement by the ministry, all Omani nationals currently in Shiraz and nearby areas are requested to gather at the designated assembly point in the city today by 12:00 pm (local time). This is in preparation for their transfer to Bandar Abbas.

The assembly point in Shiraz is located at the intersection of Roudhki and Ferdowsi streets, opposite the Sorena Hotel and the Talar Hotel. The ministry has also provided a direct contact number for assistance in Shiraz.

The statement further called upon Omani citizens residing in or near Bandar Abbas to proceed directly to one of the designated gathering points in the city by 3:00 pm (local time) for onward coordination.

The ministry extended its gratitude to all Omani citizens for their cooperation and urged them to adhere to the stated times and locations.
