Salalah – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik led the farewell ceremony for His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, as the Bahraini monarch departed from Salalah’s Royal Airport at the conclusion of a private visit to the Dhofar Governorate.
King Hamad, who arrived in Oman on August 23, 2025, spent several days in Salalah. During his stay, he held a cordial meeting with Sultan Haitham at Bait Al Rabat, where the two leaders reviewed the deep-rooted historical relations binding Oman and Bahrain.
The meeting reflected the spirit of fraternal ties, with King Hamad expressing his heartfelt appreciation for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to him by Sultan Haitham and the people of Oman. In return, Sultan Haitham voiced his delight at the visit, highlighting the strength of the bilateral relationship and wishing King Hamad a pleasant stay in Dhofar.
The visit underscored the enduring bonds of friendship and cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
