At the behest of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, received at his office at Muaskar Al Murtafaa on Monday Dr Tayser Ali Farahat, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Sultanate of Oman, to bid him farewell at the end of his tour of duty. During the meeting, HH Sayyid Shihab thanked the ambassador for the efforts he exerted in enhancing bilateral relations, wishing him continued success. On his turn, the ambassador expressed his appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan for the support extended to him during his tenure in Oman. He also wished His Majesty good health and a long life and the Sultanate of Oman further progress and growth under the wise leadership of His Majesty.
