Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) urged citizens and residents to exercise caution and avoid going to sea during periods of high waves.

The ROP warned against engaging in swimming, sea trips, and fishing activities when sea conditions are rough. The ROP emphasised the importance of closely following weather updates issued by the official authorities to ensure public safety.

The ROP noted that the measures are precautionary steps aimed at protecting lives and property, particularly as unstable weather may increase the risks for swimmers, boat operators, and fishermen.
