Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has welcomed the peace agreement between the Republics of Armenia and Azerbaijan, affirming its deep appreciation for the efforts that contributed to achieving this historic agreement that ends decades of conflict and division, a statement from the Foreign Ministry said.

The deal is achieved through dialogue and peaceful means, based on the principles of justice and right. This approach will undoubtedly contribute to enhancing stability and prosperity for all countries, peoples, and regions affected by conflicts around the world, the statement said.
