

Muscat: The aerial image on Sunday shows the continued flow of clouds over most of the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, with chances of scattered rain.
It began in the early morning with the presence of cumulus clouds over parts of Al Dhahirah and Al Buraimi Governorates and their continued movement southwest.
Low clouds are expected to accumulate over the coasts and mountains of Dhofar Governorate, with chances of scattered rain and intermittent drizzle.

advection over rest of the governorates with chance of convective clouds formation and isolated rain occasionally thundershowers associated with fresh downdraft over parts of the Al Hajar Mountains.
The Met Office also warned that there is a chance of dust rising over the desert and open areas of A’Dhahirah, al Wusta and Dhofar governorates and chance of early
morning low level clouds or fog over the coastal areas of Arabian Sea and over parts of Oman Sea.
Along the Arabian Sea coasts, winds will be southerly to southwesterly moderate to fresh and along Oman Sea coasts it is expected to be northerly to northeasterly light to moderate and over A’Dhahirah and Al Buraimi wind will be northerly to northwesterly light to moderate and occasionally fresh over desert and open areas, and over the rest of
the governorates it will be variable light wind changing to southwesterly to westerly light to moderate
occasionally fresh over deserts and open areas.
The sea condition is tough along coasts of Arabian Sea with maximum wave height of 3–5 meters and slight to moderate along rest of the coastal areas with maximum wave height ranging between 0.5- 1.5 meters.
The lowest temperature recorded in the Sultanate is in Qairoon Hariti with 25 degrees Celsius and the maximum was recorded in Ibri with a high of 46 degrees Celsius.
