MACE alumni body marks 25 years

The MACE Alumni Association, the Omani chapter of the alumni network of Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, Kothamangalam, celebrated its silver jubilee at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Madinat Al Irfan.


Dr Boss Mathew Jose, Principal of MA College, inaugurated the event which was attended by a large number of guests. The line of speakers included Riyaz Mohammed, Chandralal, Jeena Subin and John Emmanuel, representing the Association of MACE Alumni Chapters. Shabin Kunju Muhammed, Benny Joseph and the President of the MACE Alumni Association Oman delivered the welcome address, while Silver Jubilee Chairman Joseph P J proposed the vote of thanks.


The celebration featured various cultural and literary programmes with the participation of the families of alumni members. Highlights included a celebrity performance by Rupa Revathi along with her troupe, as well as a live band by Raga Riot. In addition to MACE alumni, over 250 guests — including representatives from alumni associations of various engineering colleges in Kerala — attended the event.
