An aerial view shows a flooded locality following heavy rainfall in Bengaluru on Monday. Many roads are waterlogged, slowing down public transport. Commuters faced difficulties reaching destinations due to impassable streets and reduced mobility. Floodwaters entered ground-floor homes in Horamavu, damaging furniture and appliances. Residents waded through knee-deep water to save their belongings and the city's poor drainage system failed to manage the heavy rain. Streets turned into streams, and parked vehicles are partially submerged in several areas. — AFP
