Muscat hosts new round of talks between US, Iran

Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, affirmed that another round of discussions between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran concluded in Muscat today.


He stated that the talks included “useful and original ideas” which reflect a shared desire by both sides to reach what he described as “an honourable agreement.”


Sayyid Badr added that the fifth round of talks is expected to take place after both delegations consult their respective leaderships.
