MUSCAT: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister made a phone call with Assad Hassan al Shaibani, Foreign Minister of the interim Syrian government.
The Foreign Minister reaffirmed the Sultanate of Oman's steadfast position in supporting the will of the Syrian people, preserving Syria's sovereignty and unity, as well as strengthening the historical ties between the Omani and Syrian peoples.
He also stressed the importance of maintaining mutual cooperation and supporting efforts for development and stability in Syria and the region. — ONA
