ALGIERS: An official reception ceremony was held for His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik at El Mouradia Presidential Palace in the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria on Monday, on the occasion of His Majesty’s visit to Algeria. President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of Algeria led the welcoming party for His Majesty the Sultan.
Upon His Majesty’s arrival to the Palace, he passed by the guard of honour, saluted the flag and inspected the guard of honour, while military bands played ceremonial music in honour of the esteemed guest.
Following this, the two leaders posed for a commemorative photo. His Majesty then shook hands with senior Algerian officials, while the Algerian President greeted the official delegation accompanying His Majesty the Sultan.
