Ibri: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister and Prince Faisal bin Farhan al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), visited the Al-Rub' Al-Khali (Empty Quarter) Border Crossing which links two countries, on Monday.


During the visit, the two ministers were briefed on the existing facilities as well as the commercial, tourism and traffic services provided at the border crossing in light of enhanced cooperation and integration between the two countries in various fields which embody the strong fraternal ties and communication between the two brotherly peoples.


The visit comes within the context of the mutual keenness to boost logistic and economic cooperation to keep pace with the aspirations of the leaderships of the two countries in line with the Sultanate of Oman’s Vision 2040 and the Saudi Vision 2030.
