MUSCAT: Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office, received in his office on Sunday David Lammy, the United Kingdom’s (UK) Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs and his accompanying delegation.


Al Numani reviewed bilateral relations and means of enhancing them to serve joint interests.


For his part, the guest expressed his deep appreciation for the diplomatic efforts exerted by the Sultanate of Oman to bring closer the views of different parties on some regional and international issues.

The meriting was attended by the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Sultanate of Oman.


Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office, also received Gen Michael E Kurilla, Commander of the United States (US) Central Command.


The two sides explored ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in a bid to enhance the security of the two countries. They also underscored the depth of historical relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the United States. — ONA
