

AMSTERDAM: As part of the state visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a number of ministers and officials visited the Port of Amsterdam on Tuesday to discuss cooperation and investment opportunities between Oman and the Netherlands in green hydrogen, clean energy, and logistics services.
Eng Salim bin Nasser al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, stated that the purpose of the visit was to inspect the site of the liquefied hydrogen receiving plant from Oman by 2030.
He mentioned that representatives from 11 operating companies from Oman, the Netherlands and Germany during the visit, confirmed their commitment to achieving the goal.
Abdulsalam bin Mohammed al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority, emphasised that the cooperation between Oman and the Netherlands was a result of mutual trust between the two parties. He noted that the efforts made had led to the signing of agreements between the two friendly countries.
