Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman is monitoring the issue of US customs duties and will deal with them in the same way as other countries, Dr. Ali bin Masoud al Sunaidi, Chairman of Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) said on Monday, replying to a question.

He added that 15 economic and free zones in the Sultanate of Oman export three percent of their products to the United States of America, and we have certain factories that export 27 percent of their products to the United States.

US President Donald Trump has imposed a 10 per cent tariff on GCC countries, including Oman.
