His Majesty leaves for the Netherlands

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik left here on Monday heading to the friendly Kingdom of Netherlands on a three-day "state" visit.


This visit aims at enhancing cooperation in the fields of economy, ports, logistics services, maritime trade, and chemical industries.


The cooperation would cover also renewable energy, academic, agricultural, food and cultural arenas.



His Majesty the Sultan was accompanied during the visit by a high-ranking official delegation comprising HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, Dr. Madeeha bint Ahmed Al Shaibani, Minister of Education, Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority, Eng. Salim bin Nassir Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals and Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Salim Al Harthy, Ambassador of Oman to the Netherlands.
