Muscat: HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, presided over the closing ceremony of His Majesty the Sultan’s Camel Racing Cup Festival 2025 on Thursday.
The event, organised by the Diwan of Royal Court, took place at the al Fuleij racetrack of the Royal Camel Corps in the Wilayat of Barka.
The concluding day featured six competitive rounds, drawing enthusiastic participation and showcasing the heritage sport's enduring appeal.
The Royal Camel Corps' camel Makhayil secured first place, claiming His Majesty the Sultan’s Cup for the second year in a row.
