

AL BURAIMI: The 12th Ramadhan Holy Quran Competition concluded in the Wilayat of Al Buraimi, marking another successful year of inspiring young minds to engage with the Holy Quran. Organised under the supervision of the Awqaf and Religious Affairs Department in Al Buraimi Governorate, the competition witnessed the participation of 240 contestants, both male and female, who competed across four levels.
To honour their dedication and achievements, the top five winners from each level were recognised, reinforcing the importance of Quran memorisation and understanding. The competition was held at Al Awqaf School for girls and Al Qasimi Mosque for boys, ensuring a structured and supportive environment for participants.
The Ramadhan Quran Competition is a vital initiative that seeks to instill Islamic values in youth, encouraging them to reflect on the meanings of the Holy Quran. This annual event plays a significant role in promoting religious awareness and nurturing a deeper spiritual connection among the younger generation, aligning with the broader efforts to support religious programmes during the holy month of Ramadhan. — ONA
