MUSCAT: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) has successfully rescued a woman who sustained injuries after falling while mountain hiking in Jabal Shams in the Wilayat of Al Hamra, Al Dhahirah Governorate.
In a statement, CDAA said 'Rescue and ambulance teams from the Civil Defence e and Ambulance Department in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, in cooperation with the Police Aviation, responded to an accident in which a woman fell while practising mountain hiking in Jabal Shams in the Wilayat of Al Hamra.'
The teams were able to access the woman's location on the mountain and safely transport her to the hospital. She was reported to be in a moderate health condition upon arrival. The coordinated effort between the ground rescue teams and the Police Aviation unit ensured a swift and effective response to the incident.
