DHANK: The Dhank Municipality in Al Dhahirah Governorate has commenced a significant infrastructure initiative to pave internal roads across the Wilayat of Dhank. With a total investment exceeding RO 1 million, the project aims to enhance connectivity between various villages.

Salem bin Mohammed al Alawi, Director of Dhank Municipality Department, stated that the initiative covers approximately 25 kilometres of new roads, benefiting key areas such as Qamira, Al Masila, Lajhmiah, Al Ajm, Balt, Al Sayah and Al Dhawihri. Additionally, several residential plans will see road developments, including Al Saada, Fida, Khato, Wadi Khos Heights, Al Manajir and Daan Al Ramla, among others. The project also extends to major roads like Al Khubaib Road to Juffair, further strengthening intra-regional movement.

Al Alawi emphasised that these road improvements will significantly ease travel between villages and foster greater integration among residential communities, boosting accessibility and economic growth in the governorate. - ONA
