

IBRI: The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) branch in Al Dhahirah Governorate convened its annual open meeting at the Ibri Sports Complex, fostering dialogue between government entities and business owners.
Held under the auspices of Najeeb bin Ali al Rawas, Governor of Al Dhahirah, the gathering brought together over 40 government and private institutions to discuss investment opportunities, streamline procedures and address private sector concerns.
A visual presentation highlighted OCCI’s achievements over the past year and outlined its strategic vision for the upcoming year, focusing on business growth and project support.
Saif bin Said al Badi, Chairman of OCCI’s Al Dhahirah branch, emphasised the significance of collaboration between public and private sectors, advocating for reduced bureaucratic barriers and proactive solutions for entrepreneurs and SMEs.
Key officials from various institutions, including the General Directorate of Labour, the Department of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, the Environment Authority, and the Development Bank, participated in discussions aimed at enhancing Al Dhahirah’s economic landscape. - ONA
