MUSCAT: The Military Technical College (MTC) celebrated its annual day with a vibrant evening of events, featuring heritage performances, national and folk songs performed by the Royal Army of Oman Music Band and the Royal Air Force of Oman Music Band. The festivities also included a thrilling motorcycle parade, as well as spectacular light and fire shows.
As a premier academic institution, the Military Technical College plays a vital role in equipping personnel with integrated training programmes that blend theoretical and practical learning. The college offers specialisd education in various technical and engineering disciplines, including systems engineering, aeronautical engineering, marine engineering, civil engineering, quantity surveying and geomatics engineering. Additionally, it provides advanced technical courses in high-tech military fields, catering to the evolving needs of the Sultan’s Armed Forces.
The event was held under the auspices of Lieutenant General (Retired) Ahmed bin Harith al Nabhani, with the presence of Rear Admiral Saif bin Nasser al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Military Technical College.
