Trucks restricted on some roads during Ramadhan

Muscat: To avoid congestion during Ramadhan peak hours, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) has prohibited the passage of trucks on specified routes.


According to the circular, truck movements will be restricted as follows:


Sunday to Thursday: 6:30 am to 9:30 am and 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm


Saturday: 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm


These restrictions will apply to major roads in the Muscat Governorate, Al Dhakhiliyah Road (Muscat – Bidbid Bridge), and Al Batinah Highway (Muscat – Shinas).


The Royal Oman Police also emphasize the importance of adherence to these regulations for the safety and convenience of all road users.
