Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman will be affected by a trough of low pressure from Tuesday and that will continue for several days, with chances of clouds flowing and scattered rain falling on Musandam Governorate, the Al Hajar Mountains, and parts of the coasts of the Sea of Oman.

Most of the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman are subject to active northerly to northwesterly winds, causing dust and dirt to rise, a noticeable drop in temperatures, and high sea waves.

Sea waves will be rough on the coasts of western Musandam Governorate and rise to a maximum height of 2.5 to 3 meters. The average waves on the rest of the coasts of the Sultanate of Oman will be 1.5-2 meters.
