

Muscat: Clouds continue to flow over northern Oman on Tuesday, with scattered rains falling over the governorates of Al Buraimi, Al Dhahirah, North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, and Al Dakhiliyah, with chances of rain continuing during the coming hours.
A good amount of rain was experienced last night in Wadi Al-Jizzi.
The weather forecast stated medium and high cloud advection over northern governorates and chances of isolated rain over Musandam and parts of the Al Hajar Mountains and coastal areas of the Oman Sea. Mainly clear skies over the rest of the Governorates.
There are also chances of fog formation/low clouds over parts of Al Buraimi, Al Dhahirah, Al Wusta, Dhofar and South Al Sharqiya governorates and parts of Oman sea coastal areas.
Meanwhile, the Met Office has also alerted on dust rising over desert and open areas.
Over most of the governorates, wind is expected to be southerly to southeasterly light to moderate occasionally fresh over desert and open areas and northerly to northeasterly over Oman Sea and occasionally fresh over western coasts of Musandam.
The sea condition is expected to be slight to moderate along coastal areas of the Oman Sea and Musandam coasts with a maximum wave height of 1.5 meters and slight along the coastal areas of the Arabian Sea with a a maximum wave height of 1.25 meters.
Visibility may be reduced in fog formation and dust-rising sites.
