

YANQUL: Construction has officially begun on the Yanqul Viewpoint Project, launched by Al Dhahirah Municipality in the Wilayat of Yanqul, Governorate of Al Dhahirah. The project, located along the road connecting Yanqul and Sohar, is expected to be completed within a year.
Eng Abdullah bin Suleiman Al Hashemi, Director of Yanqul Municipality Department, shared that the project spans 120,704 square metres, with 65,000 square metres dedicated to development in Al Nahda Square along the Sohar-Yanqul Road. The project, costing RO 1,680,000, will include various facilities such as green spaces, an open theater, cafes, playgrounds, water fountains, walking paths, barbecue areas, and prayer rooms, catering to all age groups.
The Yanqul Viewpoint Project is part of Al Dhahirah Governorate’s ongoing efforts to enhance recreational services, expand green spaces, and foster investment. It aims to showcase the natural beauty of the region and contribute to sustainable growth, featuring unique designs that complement the area’s geography and landscape. - ONA
