The Sultanate of Oman took part in the ceremony launching Kuwait as the Arab Capital of Culture and Media for 2025. The event took place at Jaber Al Ahmed Cultural Centre in Kuwait on Thursday.

Oman’s delegation was led by Dr Abdullah bin Nasser al Harrasi, Minister of Information. The historical theatrical performance “The Ocean of the Earth” during the ceremony included a special segment about the Sultanate of Oman. The segment expressed the deep-rooted and distinguished fraternal Omani-Kuwaiti relations. It presented a glimpse of the Omani environment’s beauty and its rich diversity of plains, oases, beaches and mountains. It also highlighted the adventures of Omani sailors. — ONA
