MUSCAT: Represented by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, the Sultanate of Oman will host the 3rd edition of the ICEF Middle East Scholarship Forum 2025 on Sunday.
The two-day forum aims to review programmes of scholarship, qualification and training programmes in line with national visions in the Middle East region, explore major opportunities for student exchange and research partnerships and consider ways to enhance cooperation among regional higher education institutions and their Omani counterparts.
The forum will also review international indices related to higher education and national capacity-building and discuss challenges related to scholarships.
The forum will see the participation of GCC officials, stakeholders and decision-makers in the sectors of higher education, science and technology, in addition to representatives of more than 60 universities and international institutions with leading scientific programmes linked to skills and specialisations of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). — ONA
