

MUSCAT: The Tender Board today held its first meeting of the year (2025) during which it awarded a number of tenders and additional works complementing development projects to the tune of RO 145,274,094.
The meeting was chaired by Dr Said bin Mohammed al Saqri, Minister of Economy, Chairman of the Tender Board. Major endorsed works included the design and construction of 20 integrated buildings for schools in different governorates of the Sultanate of Oman (RO 39,711,95), the establishment of a multi-purpose port in the Wilayat of Masirah in the Al Sharqiyah South Governorate (RO 28,612,449) and an agreement to grant Microsoft software licenses to some government institutions for a period of three years (RO 21,580,376). — ONA
