

MANAH: Oman hosted the inaugural meeting of the Omani-British Strategic Consultation Team for 2025 at the Oman Across Time Museum in Manah, Al Dakhiliyah Governorate. The meeting focused on investment strategies, business development, and sector-specific cooperation opportunities between the two countries.
Discussions covered efforts to enhance Oman's investment appeal, foster partnerships in scientific innovation, green energy, and knowledge transfer, and explore best practices in national identity promotion and strategic communication.
Delegations from both governments, private sector representatives, and consultants participated, reflecting a joint commitment to economic, investment, and development collaboration. Several workshops and technical meetings were held alongside the event, addressing: Community-driven economic visions for future generations; Sectoral skills and competency frameworks aligned with labor market needs; Support systems for SMEs across Oman’s governorates; and Insights from a green transformation study.
The meeting underscored the importance of strengthening Omani-British ties and expanding avenues for knowledge exchange and investment cooperation in line with mutual economic objectives. —ONA
