MUSCAT: HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, received in his office at Muaskar Al Murtafaa on Sunday Gen Thierry Burkhard, Chief of Defence Staff of the French Republic, and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, both sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries. They also discussed several topics of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by the Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), the Ambassador of the French Republic to the Sultanate of Oman and the Military Attaché of the French embassy in Muscat. — ONA
