Muscat: Oman's Met Office on Sunday said from today evening, strong northwesterly winds are forecasted to affect most governorates of Oman for several days. These winds are expected to cause:
A rise in sea waves along most of Oman's coasts, with wave heights reaching up to 2.0 meters.
Increased chances of dust and sandstorms in desert and exposed areas, potentially reducing horizontal visibility.
A drop in temperatures.
