Tropical system in Arabian Sea to affect 3 governorates

Muscat: There is a possibility of a tropical depression in the southeast of the Arabian Sea, which may develop into a deep depression over the next two days, according to Oman Meterology.


Initial forecasts suggest that the tropical system may move westward towards the coasts of Dhofar Governorate and the Gulf of Aden, with a chance of affecting Dhofar, Al Wusta, and South Al Sharqiyah Governorates with cloud advection accompanied by varying intensities of rainfall starting from the night of Monday, October 14.
