Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will preside over the student festival "Oman's Renewed Renaissance" that will be staged at Al Fateh Square in Wattayah, on Saturday, January 11.

The event is organised the Secretariat General of National Celebrations (SGNC).

The Secretariat confirmed that the festival will feature 8,000 participants from across Oman's governorates, celebrating the five-year milestone since His Majesty Sultan Haitham assumed the throne and Oman's renewed Renaissance.

The festival includes five artistic panels: The first, "Welcoming," reflects the joy and happiness felt by the Omani people on this significant occasion, symbolising their deep pride and gratitude under His Majesty's leadership. The second panel, "Knowledge," highlights education as a cornerstone of sustainable development.

The third panel, "A Promise Fulfilled," portrays the achievements made during the past five years of the renewed Omani Renaissance, showcasing the progress across various sectors and their impact on national growth and development.

The fourth panel, "Oman, the Land of Peace," expresses Oman's rich heritage, its commitment to Shura, and its approach to peace. The final panel, "Oman Across Time," brings together a diverse group of citizens from across the country, celebrating Omani heritage and arts.

The festival will conclude with a heartfelt tribute to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, expressing loyalty, gratitude, and praise for his wise leadership and dedication to Oman's ongoing renaissance and sustainable development.
