Oman's oil exports reach 282.1 million barrels

MUSCAT: Oman exported 282.192 million barrels of oil by November 2024, accounting for 84.8 per cent of total production, with an average price of $81.8 per barrel.


Preliminary data from the National Centre for Statistics and Information revealed a 0.4 per cent decrease in exports compared to November 2023, alongside a 5.1 per cent drop in total production to 332.693 million barrels. Crude oil production fell by 6.5 per cent to 254.629 million barrels, while condensate production totaled 78.064 million barrels.


China was the top importer, receiving 264.456 million barrels, a 1.5 per cent increase from 2023. Korea imported 5.769 million barrels, up 51.7 per cent, followed by Japan with 4.456 million barrels, a 49.8 per cent decline. Exports to India rose 10.6 per cent to 3.004 million barrels. — ONA
