Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin TariK, the Supreme Commander, conferred medals of Excellent Service, Royal Commendation and Proficiency on a number of senior officers of the Royal Oman Police (ROP), on Sunday.
On this occasion Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud al Busaidy, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, presented the medals at the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences.
Al Busaidy congratulated the officers for obtaining this honor which comes in appreciation of the continued efforts made by the Royal Oman Police officers for the advancement of this dear country under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander.”
The event was attended by Lt Gen Hassan bin Mohsin al Shuraiqi, Inspector-General of Police and Customs, Maj Gen Abdullah bin Ali al Harthy, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations, Maj Gen Khalifa bin Ali al Siabi, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and several senior ROP officers.
