IBRI: The Wilayat of Ibri in Al Dhahirah Governorate witnessed the commencement of the Second Media Forum on Sunday, under the slogan ‘Media of the Future: Impact and Technology’. The three-day forum is organised by the Office of the Governor of Al Dhahirah. Najeeb bin Ali al Rawas, Governor of Al Dhahirah and chief guest at the event, delivered a speech in which he underscored the media’s pivotal role in supporting local development within Al Dhahirah Governorate. He emphasised that the media also strengthens partnerships between service institutions and the local community, enabling effective communication channels and community-inclusive decision-making. The forum aims to build media capacities and promote media culture in the Governorate through training sessions conducted by experts and specialists. It highlights the importance of developing innovative media skills to enhance performance and ensure broader exposure.
