MUSCAT: Prof Erhan Afyoncu, Rector of the National Defence University of the Republic of Türkiye and his accompanying delegation today visited the Maritime Security Centre (MSC).
The delegation was greeted upon their arrival at the MSC by Commodore Adil bin Hamoud al Busaidy, Head of the Maritime Security Centre (MSC).
Members of the visiting delegation were briefed on the tactical roles and tasks carried out by the centre in the safety of the Omani maritime environment. They also toured the centre’s facilities and viewed its latest equipment and technologies used in carrying out its national duties.
Meanwhile, Prof Erhan Afyoncu, Rector of the National Defence University of the Republic of Türkiye also visited the Military Technological College (MTC).
Upon the delegation’s arrival at the college, they were received by the Acting Commandant of the MTC.
