MUSCAT: A delegation from the National Defence College of the Republic of India visited the Maritime Security Centre (MSC).
Upon their arrival at the centre, the guests were greeted by Commodore Adil bin Hamoud al Busaidy, Head of the Maritime Security Centre (MSC).
During the visit, members of the visiting delegation were briefed about the role of the MSC in maintaining the maritime security. They also toured the centre’s facilities and viewed its latest systems and equipment which are used in carrying out the MSC’s national duties.
Moreover, the delegation also visited the Command of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (COSAF).
Upon their arrival at the COSAF, they were received by Air Commodore Nasser bin Said al Saadi, Assistant Chief of Staff for Training and Joint Drills of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF).
During this meeting, the two sides discussed several topics related to training.
Further, the visiting delegation listened to a briefing on the roles and tasks of the COSAF. - ONA
