MUSCAT: Vale in Oman has launched “Tatweer,” a transformative Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme designed to develop leadership and entrepreneurial skills among Omani youth. The initiative connects participants with international experts, industry pioneers and thought leaders to inspire innovation and enhance future career prospects.

The programme’s inaugural sessions were held in Suhar and Muscat, attracting over 500 university students and young professionals. Renowned entrepreneur Bader Nabil al Essa (Bo Nabeel) delivered a motivational talk on finding one’s passion, fostering creative thinking and embracing adaptability.

Abdullah al Saadi, Chief of Administration and Corporate Affairs at Vale MENA, emphasised the programme’s long-term impact: “Through Tatweer, we aim to empower Oman’s youth, equipping them with skills to drive sustainable development and contribute to a knowledge-based economy.”

The initiative will continue into 2025 with an expanded agenda, reinforcing Vale’s role in supporting Oman’s economic diversification through youth development.
