Wallonia: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, accompanied by King Philippe Leopold Louis Marie, King of the Belgians and his spouse Queen Mathilde Marie Christine Ghislaine, Queen of the Belgians, on Wednesday visited Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in the Wallonia region.



The Chapel is a prestigious, international center responsible for the artistic education of young musicians.



Upon the arrival of the motorcade of His Majesty the Sultan and the King, they were received by the Governor of the Walloon Region and the Mayor of Namur city.



His Majesty was briefed on the Music Chapel and its roles in disseminating the artistic culture.



Then, His Majesty listened to a number of musical pieces that were played. After that, a private luncheon was held at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in honour of His Majesty the Sultan and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of the King and Queen of the Belgians. After that, His Majesty the Sultan presented a musical instrument as a gift for the centre.
