

The inaugural Billboard Arabia Music Awards will take place on December 11, 2024, at the King Fahad Cultural Centre, marking a significant milestone in the region's music scene. This pioneering event is part of the debut Riyadh Music Week and will celebrate over 40 prestigious awards, honoring both established and rising stars based on listener opinions and digital streaming data from platforms including Spotify, Anghami, and YouTube.
The Billboard Arabia Music Awards will recognize excellence across more than 40 categories, featuring 210 nominations and 96 competing artists. Top contenders include Al Shami, who leads with 14 nominations, along with other notable artists such as Assala Nasri, Ahmad Saad, Tamer Ashour, Elissa, Dystinct, Ayed, and Tul8te, showcasing the rich diversity of Arabic music and its growing popularity.
In a spectacular celebration of musical talent, the awards will feature performances by some of the most esteemed names in the industry, including Elissa, Dystinct, Ahmad Saad, Ayed, and Tul8te. The event aims to highlight the flourishing music landscape of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, amplifying the voices of artists who resonate strongly with audiences.
The Billboards Arabia initiative, a collaborative effort between SRMG and Billboard, represents a strategic shift in how music achievements are recognized, focusing on real-time listener engagement and preferences.
