MUSCAT: Oman's oil exports reached 230.6 million barrels by the end of September 2024, accounting for 84.6% of the country’s total oil production of 272.4 million barrels. The average export price stood at $82.6 per barrel.


Data from the National Center for Statistics and Information showed a slight 0.1% increase in exports compared to the same period in 2023, despite a 5.1% drop in production year-on-year. By the end of September 2024, crude oil production fell 6.7% to 208.5 million barrels, while condensate production rose slightly to 63.9 million barrels. Average daily production was 994,200 barrels.


China remained the top importer of Omani oil, receiving 219.6 million barrels, a 4.5% increase. Japan followed with 4 million barrels (down 46.4%), South Korea with 3.8 million barrels (up 31.8%), and India with 2 million barrels (down 26.3%).
