MUSCAT: The Edu Track Oman Exhibition concluded on Monday at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC), under the auspices of His Highness Sayyid Faris bin Fatik bin Fahar al Said.

The event brought together over 150 educational institutions from 15 countries, alongside the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MoHERI), which participated as a strategic sponsor. Organised by Al Nimr Expo Company, the exhibition spanned three days and showcased a wide range of educational opportunities for students, parents, and professionals.

Saeed bin Suleiman al Wahaibi, Media Specialist at the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, highlighted the importance of the Ministry’s participation, noting, "The Ministry's presence at the exhibition, with its various sectors such as vocational training and the Transactions Department, offers students and parents an invaluable opportunity to learn about our services and explore future university opportunities."

Dr Susan bint Saud al Yaqoubiyah, Senior Educational Researcher at the Ministry of Education, emphasised the exhibition’s role in familiarising visitors with the Career Guidance and Student Counselling Centre, as well as the newly introduced vocational and technical education tracks. "This initiative aligns with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik's Vision to expand educational pathways, and we have developed a plan to integrate this programme into schools," she explained.

The event served as a platform for GED students, university students, and graduates to interact with university advisors, discuss their academic and career aspirations, and receive expert guidance on educational programs, scholarships, and career paths. The Ministry's corner provided crucial information on foreign mission admissions, admission procedures, and certificate authentication, ensuring that attendees had access to comprehensive support for their educational journeys.
