PARIS: Audrey Azoulay, Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco), received the credentials of Amna bint Salim al Balushiyah, Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to Unesco, during her reception at the organisation’s headquarters in the French capital, Paris.


During the meeting, Amna conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and his wishes for the Unesco to achieve its desired goals.


During the meeting, Amna affirmed the Sultanate of Oman’s keenness to enhance joint cooperation with the Unesco in all fields.


The Director-General of Unesco praised the deep relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Unesco, stressing her keenness to ensure the success of the mission of the Sultanate of Oman’s representative to the Unesco in a way that serves the common interest and enhances aspects of cooperation. — ONA
