Muscat: A workshop to develop skills for entrepreneurs was held for participants of Gulf Takatuf Exhibitions recently.

Titled 'The Art of Business Management and Marketing', the event brought together owners of small and medium enterprises to enhance their skills and knowledge.

In her opening address, HH Sayyidah Hujaija bint Jaifer al Said, organiser of the Gulf Takatuf Exhibitions and founder of Links for Social Initiatives, emphasised the importance of continuous development in the business field and the necessity of exchanging experiences among participants.

She noted that Links for organising exhibitions and social initiatives does not only support them during the three days of the exhibition but continues to provide assistance even after the exhibition concludes.

To this end, the company organised this free workshop aimed at promoting collaboration among entrepreneurs and equipping them with the essential tools needed for success in their projects. The workshop included lectures and workshops presented by specialised trainers in management, finance and marketing.

Among the prominent trainers who participated in the event were Trainer Bassem bin Ahmed al Balushi and Trainer Buthaina bint Hamood al Hadhramiyah, who provided insights into business development strategies and effective project management. “All the entrepreneurial skills that are required should be elevated,” said Al Balushi.

The participants said they learned how to develop their business as well as marketing techniques.

Buthaina explained, “We want the entrepreneurs to have the skills that give them confidence to face any challenges they face in their business.”

One of the participants, Manal al Maskari said, “I learned how to make a proper business plan for the next five years for my business that deals with beauty products, including five branches.”

Certified certificates were also awarded to participants from Nasmo Academy, giving additional value to the workshop and reinforcing the organisers' commitment to delivering high-quality content.

At the end of the workshop, participants highlighted the importance of exchanging ideas and innovations that could contribute to the success of their business.
