Muscat: At the conclusion of the School Beach Games Championship organised by the Oman School Sports Association, Muscat Education won the beach handball title after defeating North Al Batinah Education 2-0 in the final. The South Al Sharqiyah Education team won the beach volleyball title by defeating North Al Batinah Education team, the previous title holder, with a score of 2-0.
In the third place competitions, Dhofar Education team won third place in the beach volleyball after defeating South Al Batinah Education with a score of 2-0. In the beach handball competitions, Al Dakhiliyah Education team won third place by defeating Al Dhahirah Education 2-0.
The closing ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr Salem bin Saeed bin Muslim al Maashani, Advisor to the Minister of Education for School Buildings Affairs. The crowning ceremony witnessed the honouring of the teams that won the first three places. The South Al Sharqiyah Education team won the championship cup and gold medals, while the North Al Batinah Education team won the second place cup and silver medals and Dhofar Education won third place and bronze medals in beach volleyball.
In the beach handball competition, the Al Dakhiliyah Education team won third place and bronze medals, while the North Al Batinah Education team won second place and silver medals. The coronation ceremony concluded with honouring the Muscat Education team, which won the championship title in the beach handball competition.
