Muscat : The Earthquake Monitoring Committee (EMC) at the Sultan Qaboos University on Sunday recorded a moderate earthquake in the Sea of Oman with a magnitude of 3.3 on the Richter scale at 08.51pm today.
The epicenter of the earthquake was about 51 km northeast of the city of Sur and at a depth of two kilometers.
